YOUR CLUB NEEDS YOU!

Our club is run purely by volunteers from the coaches to the parents helping out, no one is paid a penny. Not even expenses! All our funds go back into making our club as good as it can be that your child can enjoy and grow with.

With an increasing number of kids (and adults) we always need coaches and other volunteers to help club run smoothly.

For the past few years, Amelia has been our signing on person and tuck shop person. She has now taken her coaching course and needs to spend her time delivering coaching sessions to the children -The core of what we do.

WHAT DO WE NEED?

SIGNING ON HELPERS

In order to enable Amelia and the rest of the coaches to get out there and coach,rather than delay sessions by signing on etc, we need willing volunteers to help with signing kids on in the morning – a simple task of taking the money, checking their name against a sheet, allocating a bib and writing that number next to the child’s name. This simple task will help enormously. If a group of people were willing to take it in turns, then it wouldn’t mean one person would have to be there every week, but would be shared out.

TUCK SHOP HELPERS

The same goes for tuck shop helpers. If you can just help set up the tuck shop before break and then serve the drinks and snacks to the kids over break time, this would be of great help. All the coaches work hard running the sessions and it would make life easier if they didn’t have to do this task as well. If would free up their time to just grab a drink for themselves. After all they are coaching as a volunteer, it would be great for others to pitch in.

If you can help, even if only once a month, please put your name down on the sheet at signing on and just let us know if it’s Signing On or Tuck Shop (or both).

GENERAL HELP

We have a great group of helpers from signing bikes out to setting up equipment but we can always do with more. Just let Amelia know if you can help as she is the volunteer Coordinator.

NEW COACHES

We will always need coaches so If you are interested in coaching, please see Amelia. The club has certain criteria to be met which Amelia will be able to explain. This is to ensure we keep kids safe and ensure all the volunteers are willing to dedicate 20time to club.
