Time Trials

Traditionally this was the main focus of the adult section of the club and it still forms an important part. Usually Regular time trials are run on Tuesday nights through Summer as well as open events through the year but we are looking into what we are organising this year in view of covid. Open to youth riders aged 12 and above to adults, this is where you race against yourself.

TT results from our “inter-club” event on 11 April 2021.Thanks to all marshals, timekeepers and riders. There’s an open 15 miles event on 30 May 2021 – see CTT website for details, it’s V212 course.Well done to riders – those with a PB, some first timers in windy conditions but the snow just held off!

We are also part of the Corsa Rosa TT League. This is a local inter-club TT league where you can only use road bikes, no specialist bikes or helmets etc.

 

Corsa Rosa Time Trial League

EBCC is also a ‘founder club’ of the CorsaRosa, a local inter-club road bike only time trial league. Raced on 2 local courses, alternating between the hilly V810 from Addingham, and the flat and fast V818 at Ilkley, the league runs every 2 weeks from May to early September. Raced for the first time in 2016, the league has gone from strength to strength and we look forward to fierce competition throughout the 2021 season.

Signing on at La Stazione coffee shop, Ilkley from 7am. All start at 8am.
These alternate between V818 course (flat course) and
V810 (flat with roundabouts from Ben Rhydding Sports Club -BRSC) EBCC eve 10 course
