British Schools Cycling Association

Founded in 1967, the British Schools Cycling Association (BSCA) was created to develop and deliver cycling opportunities to all cyclists in full time education, up to age 19. This is achieved through skills sessions, leisure rides and competition, providing a pathway into cycling for all.

The British Schools Cycling Association holds a series of regional and national competitions in eight different cycling disciplines. Racing always takes place in a safe and controlled environment.

Our club has been heavily involved in promoting B.C.S.A. events for many years and two of our members sit on the national committee. Currently we promote the regional mountain bike, rollers and national and regional grass track championships.

BSCA Membership – As a member of our club, children get a free BSCA Licence. Just ask at signing on or email Mandy for details. Otherwise there is a day licence of £1.50 per BSCA event without one.
